The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter kit measures 72" W x 48" D x 120" H and features a laminate deck designed to maximize storage area. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, enhanced by front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging ensure durability and ease of maintenance. The unit features an open design allowing four-side access and is easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The particle board ships in two pieces.
