The SC Preferred 2 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, maximizing storage areas with various heights, widths, and depths. It supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level and features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double rivet button stud horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The framing is made from sturdy roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The laminate deck is 1/2" thick with a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface and pre-cut square edging in white; it is chip-resistant with a gray baked enamel finish on the frame. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board component ships in two pieces.
