The SC Preferred 4 Shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage area in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and feature easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and the laminate decking is stain resistant and easy to clean, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, made of particle board that ships in two pieces.
