The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexible organization. The shelving unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the roll-formed steel framing, which provides maximum support. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board components ship in two pieces. Warranty terms apply.
