The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf, Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wire decking is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to maximize facility space. Each shelf level supports a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. The shelving features open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation under full load. Structural integrity is enhanced by double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with snap-in components without bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board ships in two pieces.
