The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility. Each shelf has a maximum storage weight capacity of 1000 lbs. per level and features durable, adaptable construction with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. The starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces. Warranty information is provided with the product.
