The SC Preferred 3-shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing easy assembly with snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that are vertically adjustable at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and permits sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The particle board ships in two pieces.
