The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration and facilitates sprinkler water flow for improved fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
