The SC Preferred 5 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, it features durable and adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments to fit various heights, widths, and depths. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, and wire decking for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips due to snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking design permits sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. Particle board ships in two pieces.
