The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed from sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams to corner posts, eliminating back and side sway for a structurally secure joint. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish protects the frame, while the stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. The particle board ships in two pieces.
