The SC Preferred 5 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed for maximizing storage space in retail, industrial, and commercial environments, featuring a max storage weight capacity of 1000 lbs. per level. The shelving includes open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and allow four-side access for maximum flexibility. It offers easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using button stud construction to prevent back and side sway as well as beam rotation under load. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish on the frame and a 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging that is stain resistant and easy to clean. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
