The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams ensuring structural security by locking perimeter beams into the corner posts, preventing back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility, while the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration and allows sprinkler water to pass easily for improved fire safety. The unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips for easy assembly with snap-in components. Particle board ships in two pieces.
