The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize your storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes a rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel upright punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass throughout racks, improving fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Easy assembly is facilitated with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Particle board ships in two pieces.
