The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features durable, adaptable open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible organization. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking permits ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and sprinkler water can pass through easily, improving fire safety. The shelving is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and allows for expansion by joining units with greater stability and reduced construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
