The SC Preferred 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for flexible organization. Easy assembly is achieved without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts for a structurally secure joint, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging in white/laminated. The particle board ships in two pieces.
