The SC Preferred 2 shelf, standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The shelves have a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface decking that measures 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging. Particle board ships in two pieces. The product is designed in compliance with standard industrial shelving specifications and comes with manufacturer warranty terms.
