The SC Preferred 3 shelf standard duty boltless shelving starter with laminate deck is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, offering flexibility to accommodate various heights, widths, and depths. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with a double rivet button stud construction, creating a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. Front-to-back supports help prevent beam rotation under full load. The assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The decking is a stain-resistant, easy-to-clean white laminated melamine surface, measuring 1/2" thick with pre-cut square edging, and ships as particle board in two pieces. The shelving features a chip resistant gray baked enamel finish.
