The SC Preferred 5 Shelf Standard Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Laminate Deck is designed for retail, commercial, and industrial storage with a maximum storage weight of 1000 lbs. per level. The shelving kit includes rugged 2" x 1-1/2" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, and a 1/2" thick white laminated melamine surface decking with pre-cut square edging that is stain resistant and easy to clean. The open shelves provide four-sided access and are adjustable at 1" increments, supported by sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, ensuring structural security by eliminating back and side sway. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability and adaptability for various retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The particle board deck ships in two pieces.
