The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage ideal for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every area of a facility. Its open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, and expansion is simplified by joining units with greater stability and less construction compared to bolting two starter units together. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
