The SC Preferred™ 2 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. The durable, adaptable storage system features open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and provide four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The roll-formed steel framing supports easy assembly with snap-in components—no bolts, nuts, or clips required—and allows simple expansion by joining units with greater stability and less construction effort than bolting starter units together. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open wire design also allows sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety.
