The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1500 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable in 1" increments. The unit is easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel and includes wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility and promotes fire safety by allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, contributing to improved fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
