The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed for use in retail, commercial, and industrial applications to maximize storage space. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. The shelving features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable in 1" increments, with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking allow ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes through racks easily to improve fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces.
