The Precision TIG 225 is a versatile welding machine that offers a wide operating range of 5 to 230 amps, making it suitable for both TIG and stick welding applications. It features patented Micro-Start™ II technology for enhanced starting and optimal arc stability, resulting in more precise welds and crater fills. The welder is equipped with 115V receptacles for powering a water cooler or other tools, making it ideal for small auto and fabrication shops and vocational training schools. The machine supports gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) on aluminum and other metals and provides a user-friendly operator interface that allows for easy mode and polarity selection. When welding aluminum, the AC Auto Balance® feature automatically ensures the optimal mix of cleaning and penetration, while manual adjustments can be made for specific scenarios. The TIG Pulser feature minimizes material distortion from excessive heat input, enhancing bead appearance consistency. With outstanding stick welding capabilities, it accommodates electrodes up to 5/32 in. (4.0 mm), including Fleetweld® 5P+ (E6010).
