The Precision TIG 225 welder offers maximum versatility for both TIG and stick welding, with an operating range of 5 to 230 amps, making it suitable for small auto and fabrication shops, as well as vocational training schools. This welder features a user-friendly operator interface that allows the selection of mode and polarity to initiate welding. It includes patented Micro-Start™ II technology for enhanced starting and optimal arc stability, enabling more precise welds and crater fills. The AC Auto-Balance® feature automatically adjusts the mix of cleaning and penetration when welding aluminum, with the option to manually override for thicker materials or heavy oxide layers. The TIG pulser minimizes material distortion from excessive heat input while moderating filler metal deposition for consistent bead appearance. Its outstanding stick welding capabilities support the use of electrodes up to 5/32 in. (4.0 mm), including Fleetweld® 5P+ (E6010).
