The Aspect® 230 TIG welder is an inverter-based arc welding power source optimized for AC/DC TIG and stick welding, designed for professional use with advanced waveforms, full sequencer, and pulse controls. This machine delivers exceptional performance with up to 230 amps of maximum output, enabling TIG welding on materials up to 1/4 inch thick. It is portable, lightweight, and easy to transport, featuring exceptional arc response and stability. Key features include IntelliStart™ technology for softer starts, PowerConnect® technology that adjusts to input power from 120-460V (50 or 60 Hz, single or three-phase), and AC Auto Balance® technology for optimal cleaning and penetration while welding aluminum. The welder is equipped with a memory function allowing the saving of up to 9 specific welding procedures, a fan-as-needed cooling system, and a Green mode for reduced power consumption after 10 minutes of inactivity. The built-in cooler power supply comes standard on all models. The kit includes the Aspect 230 AC/DC TIG welder, a 10 ft input power cord, K870 foot pedal, KP509 expendables kit for PTW-18 and PTA-26, K1783-10 air-cooled TIG torch (200A PTA-26 flex head, 25 ft), 3100211 gas regulator, K1803-3 ground clamp with 15 ft cable, and a K1622-3 torch twist mate connector.
