The Precision TIG® 275 is a versatile shop machine designed for various TIG or stick welding maintenance applications, accommodating the use of 5/32-in. (4.0 mm) stick electrodes. It features patented Micro-Start™ II technology for enhanced starting and arc stability, promoting more precise welds and crater fills, and is ideal for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) on aluminum and other metals. This welder incorporates AC Auto-Balance® to automatically optimize the mix of cleaning and penetration when welding aluminum, while also allowing for manual adjustments. It boasts the widest output range in its class with 2-340 amps for both AC and DC high duty cycles, reaching 275 amps at a 40% duty cycle. Additional features include a built-in storage compartment with a removable tray for torch consumables, excellent performance as a stick welder with Fleetweld® 5P (E6010) enhanced by automatic hot start™ and auto adaptive arc force™ controls, and 115-volt auxiliary power receptacles for additional power needs. The water-cooled torch connections are side-mounted for protection and ease of use. The Precision TIG® 275 Ready-Pak ships fully assembled, including a water cooler, foot Amptrol™ with a 25 ft (7.6 m) cable assembly, a Harris gas regulator/flowmeter adapter, and essential accessories such as a TIG torch, torch cover, parts kit, water hoses, work cable, and clamp.
