The Power Feed® 84 semiautomatic industrial wire feeder is designed on a modular platform suitable for various applications. It features new auto-settings that simplify the process setup, eight user memories per feed head for complete welding procedure recall, improved isolation and environmental protection, and robust connection points that allow for reliable operation in tough conditions. The modularity of the feeder ensures it can be configured to fit a wide range of application needs. Its advanced interface includes digital meters for actual and preset weld display and full weld sequence control, encompassing run-in, start, weld, burnback, and crater parameters. Additionally, select models are equipped with a USB port for unlimited memory expansion or future upgrades. The feed plate can be positioned on either the right or left side of the wire drive housing for easy integration into any work center, and the electrode input stud mounted on the wire drive frame protects the feed plate from misuse due to pulling on the gun cable. It also features new gun adapters that enhance electrical reliability, reduce voltage loss, and simplify connections. An optional digital gas flow kit is available to display the actual gas flow rate during welding, and it supports push-pull capable drive systems. The kit includes a user interface, a standard #2 - #4 gun adapter, a 20-tooth pinion gear, a conduit inlet bushing (K3929-1), and a USB.
