The Power Feed® 84 semiautomatic industrial wire feeder is designed on a modular platform suitable for various applications. It features new auto-settings that streamline process setup, eight user memories per feed head for complete welding procedure recall, and enhanced isolation and environmental protection. The unit boasts robust connection points for reliable operation in challenging conditions and modularity that allows for configuration to meet diverse application needs. Its advanced interface includes digital meters displaying actual and preset weld parameters along with full weld sequence control, covering run-in, start, weld, burnback, and crater settings. Selected models come with a USB port for unlimited memory expansion and future upgrades. The feed plate is adaptable for right or left placement on the wire drive housing to facilitate integration into any workspace, while the electrode input stud mounted on the wire drive frame protects the feed plate from damage due to pulling on the gun cable. Enhanced gun adapters improve electrical reliability and reduce voltage loss while simplifying connections. An optional digital gas flow kit is available to display the actual gas flow rate during welding, and the system supports push-pull capable drive configurations. The kit includes a user interface, standard #2 - #4 gun adapter, 20 tooth pinion gear, heavy-duty wire reel stand, an 8 ft. (2.4 m) control cable (K1543-8), and a USB.
