The Power Feed® 84 semiautomatic industrial wire feeder is designed on a modular platform suitable for various applications. It features new auto-settings that simplify process setup, eight user memories per feed head for complete welding procedure recall, and improved isolation with environmental protection. Robust connection points ensure reliable operation in demanding conditions, while modularity allows customization to meet specific application needs. The advanced interface includes digital meters for both actual and preset weld displays, along with full weld sequence control that encompasses run-in, start, weld, burnback, and crater parameters. Selected models come with a USB port for unlimited memory expansion or future upgrades, and the feed plate can be positioned on either the right or left side of the wire drive housing for seamless integration into any work center. An electrode input stud is mounted on the wire drive frame to prevent misuse by pulling on the gun cable. New gun adapters enhance electrical reliability, reduce voltage loss, and simplify connections. An optional digital gas flow kit is available to display the actual gas flow rate during welding, and the system supports push-pull capable drive systems. Included in the kit are a user interface, standard #2 - #4 gun adapter, 20 tooth pinion gear, standard duty reel stand, 8 ft. (2.4 m) control cable (K1543-8), and a USB.
