The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving Add On with Wire Shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It is durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for flexible storage solutions. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The wire shelving allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while also permitting sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks to enhance fire safety. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with snap-in components, needing no bolts, nuts, or clips. The design allows for expansion by joining units for more stability with less construction effort compared to bolting two starter units together. The open design allows four-side access, providing maximum flexibility for retail, commercial, and industrial applications.
