The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf extra heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility area. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs., with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for adaptable storage. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, while the kit includes rugged 14-gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts via double rivet button stud construction, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The durable framing is made from sturdy roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is simple with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and units can be expanded by joining add-on units to starter units for greater stability with less construction effort than bolting two starter units together.
