The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf Extra HD boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, it features durable and adaptable open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into the corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The shelving is made from sturdy roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and facilitates sprinkler water passage for improved fire safety. The design offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Various heights, widths, and depths are available to accommodate almost any facility space, and the system enables easy expansion by joining add-on units with more stability and less construction effort than bolting starter units together.
