The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking features a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level, making it durable and adaptable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The unit is designed for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. It consists of sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction to securely lock perimeter beams into the corner posts, eliminating back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, while the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
