The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. This durable and adaptable shelving system is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, featuring open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to prevent back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility and includes wire decking to enhance ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while also allowing sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish provides durability, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
