The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the open design allows four-side access providing maximum flexibility. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick setup. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically on 1" increments, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The included wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and sprinkler water passes throughout the racks to improve fire safety. Particle board ships in two pieces. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the unit is designed for easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
