The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf, heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes a starter unit with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and wire decking for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction locking the perimeter beams into the corner post, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. It has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The design allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety. The particle board ships in two pieces.
