The Merit chrome plated brass pipe fitting features a 1-1/4 inch square head cored plug with NPT male threading, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). The fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G. and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Made from chrome plated brass, these fittings offer superior corrosion resistance, easy installation due to the material's relative softness, and a tight seal. They are easy to clean, resist dirt and bacteria buildup, and maintain a shiny finish. It should be noted that these fittings contain lead and are not permitted by federal law for installation in potable water systems within the U.S.A. and its territories.
