The MP4000 is a 40-ton ironworker powered by a 110V, single phase standard wall outlet or generator. It features a compact, sturdy design with 40 tons of pressure at the punch station and 20 tons of pressure at the central workstation, enabling the user to punch a 3/4" round hole through 1/2" mild steel and larger holes through thinner mild steel. The machine utilizes MetalPro's footswitch design to control a hydraulic power system and is standard equipped with MetalPro's punch station, which is ready to accept any size punch and die set or accessory. Its open central workstation allows users to choose from MetalPro's 3 in 1 shears available in 6-inch, 8-inch, or 12-inch sizes, or brakes in 8-inch or 12-inch sizes. All MetalPro machines and accessories are made in the USA, rated for mild steel, and built to last, with the exception that the MP45PSP accessory on 40-ton models is the only exception. MetalPro stands behind their machines with a three-year limited manufacturing warranty.
