This corrugated switchboard is designed to protect workers from electrical shock by insulating against high voltage. It is Type II, Class 2, meeting additional testing for flame, oil, and ozone resistance, and conforms to ASTM D-178-01 testing. The tested dielectric strength is 30,000 volts, with a maximum use voltage of 17,000 volts and a thickness of 1/4", non-conductive. It passes the electrical proof test ASTM D178 with a minimum of 20,000 volts for one minute, dielectric breakdown test ASTM D149 with a minimum of 30,000 volts, and O3 resistance test method B ASTM D178 with no visual degradation. The tensile strength per ASTM D412 Die C is 1,318 psi (minimum 700 psi required), elongation is 317% (minimum 250% required), and tension set per ASTM D412 Die B is 0.4827 in. (maximum 0.50 in.). Moisture absorption ASTM D570 is 0.09% (maximum increase 3%), accelerated aging ASTM D573 shows 1,363 psi tensile strength remaining (103% of original, minimum 50% required), flame resistance ASTM D178 Appendix is 0.12 mm/s (maximum 0.5 in./12.7 mm after 30 seconds), and oil resistance ASTM D471 is 0.04% volume increase (maximum 4%). Cleaning instructions recommend scrubbing with a deck brush when needed, using detergent with a neutral pH, rinsing with a hose or pressure washer, laying the mat flat or hanging it to dry, and ensuring the mat is dry before returning to service.
