The Military Diamond switchboard is designed to protect workers in high voltage areas and meets the strict military specification standard MIL-DTL-15562G. It features a Type III PVC runner with a dielectric strength requiring the floor covering to withstand no less than 30,000 volts as specified by MIL-DTL-15562G. The material measures 3/16" thick and is non-conductive, available in 36" by 75' rolls. The product has passed multiple tests including a voltage test at a minimum of 15,000V for 1 minute, a dielectric strength test at a minimum of 30,000V, and a visual/dimensional exam according to MIL-STD-407 without any degradation. It meets ASTM D412 Die C standards with a tensile strength of 1800 psi (minimum 800 psi) and an ultimate elongation of 200% (minimum 75%), with hardness measured at 90 Shore A per ASTM D2440 (standard 95 +/-5). Additional performance measures include critical radiant flux per ASTM E648 at 0.81 W/cm2 (minimum 0.45 W/cm2), smoke density per ASTM E662 at 400 (maximum 450), passing the flexibility test FED-STD-501 Method 3111, dimensional stability per ASTM D1204 at 0.009 in/ft (+/-0.020 in/ft), glossy finish ASTM D2457 at 70 (standard 50), and color compliance as specified by FED-STD-595. Cleaning instructions involve scrubbing with a deck brush when needed, using a detergent with neutral pH, rinsing with a hose or pressure washer, and ensuring the mat is laid flat or hung to dry, always making sure it is dry before placing it back in service.
