EXAIR's® compressed air operated Line Vac connects to standard hose to create a powerful in-line conveyor material handling system designed to move large volumes of material over long distances without clogging or jamming. The material flow rate is easily controlled with a pressure regulator, and an optional bracket permits easy mounting. The unit features no moving parts or electricity, assuring maintenance-free operation, and accommodates hoses with inside diameters ranging from 3/8" to 5". Made from aluminum, the Line Vac is an economical choice for general-purpose conveying with a maximum temperature rating of 250°F (121°C). Common applications include hopper loading, fiber tensioning, material conveying, waste/trim removal, chip removal, part transfer, and filling operations. The device is compact, quiet, fits standard hoses or tubes, and is available in aluminum or stainless steel with high throughput capacity. Certifications and compliance include adherence to OSHA safety requirements, the EU General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC), and the noise limitation requirements of the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), with all sound level measurements taken at 3 feet. EXAIR® certifies that Line Vac products are conflict mineral free in accordance with section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, using the CMRT 3.02 template for supply chain documentation.
