The 48"W x 24"D x 72"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration for a continuous shelving setup. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this unit features four adjustable shelves with DuraDeck decking, providing a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and suitable for healthcare and food service environments. The frame is made of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the posts to form stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each shelf supports up to 300 lbs. when evenly distributed and adjusts at 1" increments. The open design offers four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels ensure seamless installation.
