The 36"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems with a practical, space-saving solution. It connects to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf to enhance stability. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf comes with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves are adjustable in 1" increments and support up to 400 lbs. per level when the load is evenly distributed. Pre-sized panels enable seamless installation, and the open design allows for four-sided access to stored items, making it ideal for industries where cleanliness is essential.
