The 36"W x 24"D x 48"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 3-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items and includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf to ensure stability and reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the corner posts, creating a stable joint that reduces back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean, making the unit suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be adjusted in 1" increments. The unit can be expanded with add-on units for additional storage space.
