The 48"W x 18"D x 36"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed 14-gauge steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, it features a heavy-duty frame with uprights punched on 1" centers. Double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf provide added stability, while rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts to reduce back and side sway. The unit includes three adjustable shelves fitted with Duradeck decking, offering a smooth, non-porous surface for easy cleaning, suitable for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The package includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation and the open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility in any industry where cleanliness is essential. The shelving unit is backed by a warranty covering manufacturing defects.
