The 48"W x 18"D x 72"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create a continuous shelving system. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with single rivet horizontal beams on the middle shelf and double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability. Rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams securely into the posts, forming stable joints that reduce back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which can be set at 1" increments, is fitted with DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface ideal for healthcare and food service applications. This unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and is suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential.
