The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish. It features a boltless design that allows quick, hassle-free assembly without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips. The unit includes three shelves supported by double rivet beams on the top and bottom levels for added stability and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The heavy-duty frame consists of 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf is equipped with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. The shelves support up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed and can be adjusted in 1" increments. The open design provides four-sided access to stored items for maximum flexibility, and pre-sized panels facilitate seamless installation. This starter unit can also be extended with add-on units for additional storage space.
