The 36"W x 12"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving starter unit is constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish and features a boltless design for quick assembly without nuts, bolts, or clips. This 4-shelf unit provides four-sided access to stored items and includes a heavy-duty frame with 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to form stable joints that help eliminate back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf includes DuraDeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily, suitable for healthcare and food service applications. Shelves adjust in 1" increments and support up to 400 lbs. per level when evenly distributed. The unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, an open design allowing four-sided access, and can be extended with add-on units for increased storage capacity. The product comes with a limited warranty.
