The 48"W x 18"D x 84"H SC Preferred® commercial-duty boltless shelving add on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting to coordinating commercial-duty boltless starter kits using a T-post configuration to create continuous shelving across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and provides four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Its heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves for added stability, and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for reliable support. The rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, which supports up to 300 lbs. per level when evenly distributed, is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes clean easily and is ideal for healthcare and food service environments. Shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, and the unit includes pre-sized panels for seamless installation, making it suitable for industries where cleanliness is essential.
