The 48"W x 18"D x 96"H SC Preferred™ commercial-duty boltless shelving add-on unit is designed to expand existing storage systems by connecting easily to commercial-duty boltless starter kits with a T-post configuration, creating a continuous shelving system across multiple units. Constructed from durable roll-formed steel with a chip-resistant gray enamel finish, this 5-shelf unit features a boltless design for quick assembly and four-sided access for maximum flexibility. The heavy-duty frame includes 14-gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, with double rivet beams on the top and bottom shelves and single rivet beams on the middle shelf for added stability. Rivet button stud construction securely locks perimeter beams into the posts, reducing back and side sway. Each adjustable shelf, spaced at 1" increments, is fitted with Duradeck decking, a smooth, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and ideal for healthcare and food service environments. The unit supports up to 300 lbs. per level when the load is evenly distributed, features pre-sized panels for seamless installation, and its open design ensures four-sided access to stored items.
